As with many of my book purchases, I was drawn to the title and book cover. I was unaware that Jerry Jenkins co-authored the Left Behind series as well as hundreds of other Christian books, but my first dip into his artistry resulted in perhaps the best book I’ve read,
Jenkin’s books tend to grab you in the first lines and hold on until you find out what happens next. This book began a bit dark but finished brilliantly. I just need to warn you, once you start, it is hard to put down. One night, I stayed up reading until my eyes were way too heavy to continue. Though it has been a few years since I read it, its imagery still bounces around in the corners of my cranium. I have never read anything like it.
