Author or Scribe?

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

Every good gift is from above, from Jesus, the author of our faith. So are we truly authors and songwriters? Or simply scribes – artisans attuned to the heartbeats of the Creator, interpreting whispers on paper or canvas, lyric or melody, at the Lord’s leading.

My published writings are a peek into my journal, a leather bound collection of scribbles and thoughts which at times allows space for God to whisper into my soul, with wisdom and answers, even if the “no-answer” is “Be patient, My grace is sufficient for you, wait and see.” God’s will and timing is perfect, though frustrating at times, yet faith and belief are simply thanking God in advance.
