Every good gift is from above, from Jesus, the author of our faith. So are we truly authors and songwriters? Or simply scribes – artisans attuned to the heartbeat of the Creator, interpreting whispers on paper or canvas, lyric or melody, at the Lord’s leading.

My published writings are a peek into my journal, a leather bound collection of scribbles and thoughts which at times allow space for God to whisper into my soul, with wisdom and answers, even if the “no-answer” is “Be patient, My Grace is sufficient for you, wait and see.”

God’s will and timing is perfect, though frustrating at times, yet faith and belief are simply thanking God in advance.

John is a construction estimator and self-admitted math-lete by trade. Yet when he emerges from the phone booth, he is part musician, part author, wanderer and ponderer, praise warrior and Jesus freak. He lives south of San Antonio, Texas with his bride of 38+ years and a daughter, who together, make the world a better place.
